Family Fun in Santa Cruz!!

Jasmine had a ball with all the family over the 4th of July in Santa Cruz!!  She loves Granny & Auntie Shar so much=)

Island Life

Jazzie and her family had it rough the last nine days. Island life is hard work! Snorkeling, playing in the sand, hanging at the beach and lounging in the 80 degree sunshine can really take it out of a person!

In an effort to make adjusting to all the fun in the sun a bit easier Jazzie and her Mommy were forced by Aidan and I too chill under a palm frond cabana and sip virgin Lava Flows! Yes, I know island life is incredibly rough!

Someone has a new haircut!!

We decided it was time to trim Jazzie Girl’s bangs………as much as we wanted to let them grow out!!  The little barrettes were not staying in her hair, as she would either pull them out, or they would fall out……..and her beautiful eyes were getting covered up.  We must admit the new “look” is really quite adorable!

Jasmine sends everyone lots of hugs and kisses from Sitka by the Sea!!  She is getting so close to walking on her own………..it should be any time now!  She loves cruising along all the furniture, and proudly walks all around the house holding our hand.  Going up and down the stairs is one of her favorites.  Jazzie Girl just might be walking by the time she visits Grammy & Poppa next month!!

Jasmine went to a party, and when we got home she was all wound up……………..she had lots of fun practicing walking in the kitchen.  We are just waiting for her to take off completely on her own.  She has been doing lots of walking between us, and cruising along the furniture.  It should be a matter of time!!!

Jazzie’s On The Move

Before we know it Jazzie will be off and running all by herself. Or as I like to call it: “The Point of No Return!” She’ll be adding a whole new element to the baby proofing!

Winter Fun in Sitka by the Sea!!

Jasmine visited her cousin last night for our traditional “Family Sunday night dinner” and she loved playing with Andrew’s new puppy…..Dixy!  Auntie Seimeen thinks it is her little puppy………….but, really, this puppy has truly won Andrew’s heart!

Jasmine has been having heaps of fun playing with her buddies in Sitka!  She was so excited Daddy got her a sled for the snow……………yippee!!

Another great eating adventure!

Jasmine has been insisting on feeding herself since about 6 months old…………..holding the spoon or fork (all about the fine motor skills !)  …………and, needless to say, after a recent dining experience of one of her tried and true favorites, yogurt, little Jazzie girl was quite the looker……….I’m sure yogurt must be some kind of great face mask, right?!

Yippee for Whistler, BC………..lots of fun with my cousin, Heidi, and her hubby, Kurt, and their little angel, Ensi.  Ensi is just over 2, so of course, Jasmine was in total awe!!  It was such a fun vacation…..so perfect for all of us………the skiing was awesome, and Clay & I LOVED having time together to play a little……..what a perfect set up Heidi & Kurt!!

For all the loyal subscribers to Jasmine’s website………so sorry for this long delay in posts……we recently returned from our 3 week Christmas Holiday…….and our little Jasmine has grown so much………….the biggest highlight is that she is getting so darn close to walking!!!

In Vancouver, Jasmine loved spending time with her cousin’s Levi, Easton, Emily & Joel……they all definitely had fun with little Jazzie girl too : )

Jasmine took her very first steps in Texas at Auntie Seimeen & Uncle Seth’s new home!!  Poppa Abbass was  holding Jazzie’s hands as she proudly took those first steps…..it will just be a matter of time now before Jasmine is walking on her own!  Ellie Sue had lots of fun working on Jasmine’s new skill with her : )

After all the travels Jasmine has been having fun being back home…….she loyally cheered the Seahawks on during the playoffs, and has now moved on to Basketball!!  Jasmine had such a great time on her recent winter holiday……….Whistler, B.C., Vancouver, Wash. visiting family, and finishing off her trip in warm, sunny, Austin, Texas……yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaw for vacation!!!!
